Knives are being used in an increasing number of violent crimes,
putting the lie to the belief that guns are the problem.
The gruesome fatal stabbing of a Ukrainian refugee on a commuter train in Charlotte, N.C. is just the proverbial "tip of the iceberg" in what may be a growing violent crime phenomenon which may be troublesome for gun control proponents because these attacks demonstrate that evil people, not guns, are the responsible.
Brutally murdered in Charlotte was Iryna Zarutska, 23. Her slaying was captured by a security camera and it has become national news. The BBC is reporting how the murder has "sparked ongoing concerns about crime in the U.S."
A writer at the Free Press is reporting that "a number of Wikipedia editors don't want you to know about the attack. Since the online encyclopedia's article "Killing of Iryna Zarutska" was created on Saturday, Wikipedia editors have fought to have it deleted."
But the Zarutska case is not the only stabbing incident around the country which should be raising alarms, while also signaling that violent criminals don't need guns to cause mayhem.
