CIVIL RIGHTS RALLY IN PITTSBURGH IS THE HIGH ROAD

Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership respects and supports the efforts of our colleagues and patriots in Pittsburgh for exercising their rights to assemble and freely speak in defense of the fundamental human and civil right to keep and bear arms.

It is disheartening that some of our countrymen—elected and religious officials included—have been misguided into falsely believing that by weakening, disarming or making innocent people vulnerable we will somehow stop crime or forestall the actions of sociopaths. Nothing could be further from the truth. Today's assembly in Pittsburgh is determined to get this important message across:

So-called "gun control" doesn't control guns and doesn't stop crime! It is a code phrase for disarming the public, and is never the right choice for public policy. You can't arm slaves and expect them to remain slaves, and similarly, you can't disarm free citizens and expect them to remain free. Watch carefully who does the disarming. A freely armed public is why America is the great magnet that attracts desperately oppressed gunless people from across the globe.

Taking lawfully owned firearms and accessories from the people who own them is infringement. Infringement is banned by the U.S. Constitution. The people who attempt to infringe on our rights are modern day red coats, dressed in business attire, who must be resisted by all available means. Infringers earn and deserve prison sentences!

The mass-media community is complicit in promoting the distorted message that weakness is strength, or disarming the average woman or man is good—the precise opposite of the truth. Their incessant front-page promotion of mass murderers by name and image encourages copycats. They know this, and use it to further their nefarious cause of civil disarmament. Protected by heavily armed minions of government, these lowly sycophants of the system violate every principle of ethical journalism and argue for reducing the public under absolute despotism, the sure road to the loss of freedom, genocide and enslavement.

Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership stands four square with our courageous allies in defense of liberty, property ownership and a heavily armed public, as the balance to power it was successfully designed to be by our intelligent, well educated and religiously inclined Founding Fathers!
