JPFO Literature Used in Alaskan High School Class
JPFO has received the following letter from a teacher in Anchorage, Alaska describing his use of the Gran'pa Jack #3 booklet on December 15th -- Bill of Rights Day:

Dear Friends
One of the most interesting and informative social studies classes I taught last year was on December 15th. December 15th is Bill of Rights Day. The thing that made the class so exciting was my use of the JPFO book, Gran'pa Jack #3. Gran'pa Jack #3 says: "It's Common Sense to use our Bill of Rights. or lose them!"
My high school students loved the format. They learned not only about the Bill of Rights but they also learned how a skilled writer can present a subject with humor and intelligence.
My next step is to figure-out how to incorporate The Mitzvah into my social studies curriculum. Aaron Zelman and L. Neil Smith have written a real page-turner in this book. The reader learns the dangers of an unarmed society. According to the authors mass murders by governments of their citizens were all preceded by "victim disarmament." Additionally, I plan to use Gran'pa Jack #6 to show my students not only the dangers of step-by-step gun control but how to ask penetrating and probing questions about any petition they are asked to sign or issue they are asked to vote on. Gran'pa Jack #6, asks, "Will Gun Control Make you Safer?"
Aaron Zelman and the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership are to be commended for all the work and effort they are expending on behalf of freedom in America. They know from personal experience and history that unarmed citizens are in grave danger of losing not only their freedom but their life.
